1. What DubFlow does

Open a video on a site you already use, choose the language you want to hear, and press play — you'll hear it spoken in that language while you watch. No downloads of the video, nothing to re-upload.

2. Install

  1. Add DubFlow to your browser (Chrome, Edge or another Chromium browser). You can install it from the store listing or from our website.
  2. You'll see the DubFlow icon appear in your browser toolbar.
  3. No account is needed for the free plan.
On some sites you may be asked to allow DubFlow on this site — click Enable once and it works there from then on. Popular video sites are already enabled out of the box.

3. Dub your first video

  1. Open a video on any supported site and start it playing.
  2. Click the round Dub button that appears on the video (bottom-right). It turns on dubbing for that video.
  3. Prefer the toolbar? Click the DubFlow icon and choose your Language and Voice, then start dubbing.
  4. That's it — sit back and listen.
You can also open DubFlow's settings any time from the small gear icon next to the on-video button.

4. The status light

The light on the on-video button tells you what's happening at a glance:

ColourMeaning
GreyIdle — ready when you are.
YellowLoading — getting ready and connecting.
GreenPlaying — the dub is live.
RedSomething's not working — check that the video is playing with sound, or reload the page.

The label above the button shows the current state too (for example, "Dub ready" or "Dub on — Spanish").

5. Settings explained

SettingWhat it does
LanguageThe language you want to hear. It defaults to your browser's language; change it anytime.
VoiceThe voice used for that language. Only voices for your chosen language are shown, so you always get a matching one.
Voice speedHow fast the voice speaks. Higher is quicker.
Original audio volumeHow loud the video's original audio stays underneath the dub. Lower it to focus on the dub.
Auto-fit voice speedKeeps the dub in step with the video — it gently adjusts so you don't miss words.

6. Change language or voice anytime
